Your day
As aDiagnostic Technician,you will perform a variety of workshop work in an efficient and safe manner. The aim is to meet customer requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.
Your day will include:
- Performing routine servicing of vehicles in accordance with brand technical standards.
- Undertaking air-conditioning system servicing and repairs.
- Working in accordance with brand and dealership processes.
- Ensuring that working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous.
- Diagnosing and undertaking general repairs to vehicles including MOT repairs.
- Performing diagnostic investigations into vehicle electrical system faults, providing reports on faults found.
- Carrying out welding repairs to vehicles.
- Obtaining estimates and ordering car parts in order to resolve the vehicle issues.
- Liaising with customers where appropriate updating them on the status of their vehicle checks.

- Previous work experience in a franchise dealership
- Highly skilled in fault diagnosis
- Ability to work as part of a team.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday – 8.30 – 5.30 with 30 mins for lunch
