The Role

We are delighted to work on the Imperial Park framework in Newport and business growth means that we have vacancies for operatives, to safely undertake civil excavation works, in a way that mitigates health and safety risks, as well as meeting contract targets.

Here are some of the activities that you get involved with

  • Complying with NRSWA and client specifications.
  • Ensuring all interactions with colleagues, customers and members of the public are polite and professional, minimising the need to escalated.
  • Compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures and taking responsibility for the quality of work undertaken.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all information related to completed and active jobs.
  • Carrying out activities in accordance with the RAMS and highlighting/escalation deviations.
  • Cooperating in any incident, accident or damage investigation.

If you have the following experience, we would love to hear from you

  • We are keen to receive applications from teams or individuals, with a full and valid driving licence.
  • CSCS and / or EUSR card needed.
  • Experience working in the utilities industry including safe excavation.
  • Good appreciation for high standards of work and safe working practices.
  • Any relevant plant tickets such a dumper, telehandler etc
