Beaverbrook is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Income Auditor to join our busy finance department. The Income Auditor will play a crucial role in reconciling daily revenue and receipt transactions, ensuring that any balancing issues are promptly investigated and resolved. This position works closely with the Management Accountant to provide reliable and accurate income reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. As an Income Auditor at Beaverbrook, you will ensure that all revenue data and related statistics are accurate, reflecting the high standards of our estate. Given the visibility of these figures across the business, the role requires a keen eye for detail and a tenacious approach to accuracy.
What you'll do:
- Reconcile daily revenue and receipt transactions.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or balancing issues.
- Work closely with the Management Accountant to ensure reliable and accurate reporting of income.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly income reports for management.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy in all financial reporting, contributing to the monthly management accounts.
Who you are:
- Strong administration skills, efficient, organised & numerical.
- Experience of income audit is essential ideally within a Hotel background.
- Willing to learn and able to work in challenging situations.
- Good knowledge of Sage or similar system is ideal.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30.
Salary: Up to £30,000 plus tronc.
