Clancy are looking to recruit a permanent Water Quality Control Manager.
This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in quality management and major utilities projects.
You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across the project.

Here are some of the key activities you'll be involved with...
- Develop a project quality assurance plan, accredited to ISO 9001
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a project Regulation 31 register covering all potable water-contact materials and products.
- Verify Regulation 31, WRAS, BS 6920 or other relevant potable water suitability evidence where applicable to the product or material.
- Drafting and coordinating Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and quality water check sheets.
- Managing Health & Safety Files and As-Built documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leading and contributing to both client and internal quality and compliance meetings.
- Chairing quality workshops and supporting the Construction Management Team
- Producing weekly and monthly reports on quality performance for internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing the non-conformance process and overseeing timely close-out and implementation of lessons learned.
- Providing training, guidance, and support to ensure consistent quality standards are upheld across the team.
- Must be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance and to maintain effective liaison with the Project Manager.
We would love to hear from you if...
You have experience in a similar role, within the utilities or construction sectors, and are confident in developing project quality assurance plans, carrying out inspections, audits, and managing the full quality lifecycle of complex projects.
Having knowledge of water infrastructure, pipeline construction, and relevant quality standards and procedures will be preferred in this role.
You are proactive, methodical, and capable of influencing and guiding teams to meet high quality and compliance standards.
A relevant vocational qualification in construction, quality, or a related field is required, and any certifications in quality auditing or health & safety are highly desirable.
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills will help you thrive in this.
