AS A PARTNER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (UKI – COMMERCIAL/ENTERPRISE AND GLOBAL + EMEA NORTH GLOBAL TERRITORIES), YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Managing the AWS relationship to achieve partnership goals, including net new customer acquisition and consumption.
- Supporting partners in their go-to-market activities such as business planning, pipeline development, QBRs, marketing, and sales enablement across various Go-To-Market options.
- Ensuring successful execution of business plans by developing and managing relationships across different functional areas within the partner organization.
- Collaborating with AWS and partners to expand into new strategic areas, including new Service Lines and Industry Verticals.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, typically at the Partner/Managing Director level.
- Organizing and executing events with and for our partner community.
- Pitching Snowflake\’s partnership value proposition at all levels, up to C-Level.
- Ensuring alignment of all relevant stakeholders on pursuits in joint accounts.
OUR IDEAL REGIONAL AWS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER WILL HAVE:
- 6+ years of professional experience in Channel Management, Software/Services Sales, Consulting, and specifically Business Development within Cloud software.
- Essential experience working with hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proven ability to deliver strong results in pipeline generation and bookings using programs like Marketplace and cloud funding.
- Understanding and experience with Cloud Technology, AI/ML, Data, Analytics, API, and platform.
- Ability to build, lead, and implement strategy in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong executive selling and business development skills, with a proven ability to understand different partner GTM and organizational models.
- Ability to design and present business plans, track and articulate program progress, and design and document program guidelines for both internal and external distribution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to organize priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel between 25% and 50% in some months
