SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Project / Technical Delivery shifts from localized team management to a critical Regional Focus.

Modeled as a "storm pilot," this role requires a multi-department focus and the ability to influence thinking in highly sensitive situations.

You will establish operational objectives, delegate assignments to lower managers, and maintain strict accountability for adhering to long-term regional work plans, budgets, and short-term goals.

On the delivery side, you establish the Quality Assurance frameworks for regional delivery teams and oversee multiple complex legacy-to-Snowflake modernization workstreams simultaneously.

You serve as a key executive advisor, negotiating high-stakes Statements of Work (SOWs) and advising customer senior management on modernization ROI and risk mitigation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Regional Delivery Quality: Establishes comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) frameworks for regional delivery teams to validate architecture and mitigate delivery risks.
  • Modernization Oversight: Directly oversees multiple concurrent, complex enterprise modernization workstreams moving from legacy platforms to Snowflake.

Advisory: Negotiates complex, high-stakes SOWs and advises customer senior management and C-suite stakeholders on technical debt minimization, risk mitigation, and modernization ROI.

  • Operational Leadership & Delegation: Establishes clear regional operational objectives, delegates assignments to lower managers, and guides team performance.
  • Financial & Pipeline

Management: Owns regional delivery revenue targets, drives quarterly forecast accuracy, and maintains strict adherence to long-term regional work plans and budgets.

  • Talent Management & Sourcing: Maintains full hire-to-headcount accountability for the regional talent lifecycle, ensuring teams are scaled and actively mentored in alignment with regional business plans.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

  • Education: BA/BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in technical delivery, post-sales architecture, or management consulting; minimum 5 years of people management experience, including a proven track record of managing multiple technical teams through subordinate managers or team leads Extensive experience in a post-sales technical delivery or management consulting framework, with a proven history of managing multiple technical teams through subordinate managers.

Capabilities: Outstanding executive communication and client management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence thinking in sensitive situations and manage multi-department work scopes.

  • Technical & Migration Depth: Deep foundational knowledge of cloud migrations and large-scale legacy database technologies (Teradata, Netezza, Exadata, etc.).
  • Success Metrics Focus: Proven track record of hitting targets across Regional Delivery Revenue, Forecast Accuracy, Budget Adherence, and Regional Talent Retention.
