Our EMEA Alliances and Channel organization is seeking a Channel Sales Manager to join our growing team. In this role you will strategically plan and deliver a cross-functional strategy to engage our current and potential partners in the UK reseller community.
In addition to managing, recruiting and enabling partners, you will be responsible for driving marketing activities with your partners to increase brand awareness, accelerate pipeline and achieve customer success and product adoption.
Reporting to the Regional Partner Director, UK you will have a unique opportunity to work for a disruptive start up and lead the development of a new set of sales focused ecosystem alliances.
- Evangelize, enable and develop go-to-market strategies with the reseller and partner community.
- Manage a portfolio of high performing partners to achieve partnership goals including sales quota and marketing activities.
- Develop partner specific account plans to include annual & quarterly goals, marketing support, requirements, etc.
- Help with recruitment, training, and on-boarding of new partners.
10+ years of industry experience within partnership/alliances sales & business development.
~5+ years of direct channel sales/management experience within the SaaS space, ideally supporting the Public sector.
~ Working knowledge of cloud environments and Data preferred.
~ Ability to travel up to 50%.
Achieve partnership goals including sales quota and marketing activities; Evaluate their expertise, capabilities, and delivery quality and activate the GTM programs accordingly.
Results-oriented Partner Management: Effective and proven Partner Management skills will be necessary to manage the alliance development lifecycle. This will require the ability to be a self-starter focused on building and owning the 360-degree relationship.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as product development, sales, sales engineering, professional services, legal and marketing, to ensure a seamless partner & customer experience. This candidate will collaborate with a team of technical experts to drive solution building with our partners.
Assist VARs in navigating Snowflake’s partner program & sales process, including deal registration, proposal support, reporting and alignment with Sales Leadership. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient sales cycle both with VARs.
Deliver on Performance: Monitor the performance and success of the partner ecosystem related to specific metrics. Important to have the ability to shift priorities, take risks and think outside of the box to deliver on key criteria.
