At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. Your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
Summary
To provide expanded regional leadership for the Solutions Architecture function, driving technical pre-sales excellence and managing strategic outcomes across a designated geography. The Senior Manager shifts focus from purely tactical task and localized team management to building regional operational frameworks, optimizing regional technical discovery processes, and championing the development of reusable solution patterns to accelerate velocity and ensure cross-functional delivery alignment across a broader geographic portfolio.
Why This Role?
As a Senior Manager, you scale your impact from a localized team to an entire regional segment. This role provides the opportunity to design structured regional onboarding programs, resolve high-complexity regional escalations, and consistently drive cross-functional alignment across multiple sales, delivery, and engineering divisions. You will be the definitive champion for scaling pre-sales capability, regional scoping accuracy, and repeatable technical intellectual property.
What You’ll Do
- Regional Pre-Sales Optimization: Optimize regional technical discovery processes and design structured qualification frameworks to accelerate deal velocity and ensure high-integrity sales pursuits across your geography.
- IP & Reusable Solution Patterns: Champion the development, curation, and regional adoption of reusable solution patterns, reference architectures, standardized sales collateral, and field enablement toolkits.
- Regional Escalation & Alignment: Manage high-complexity regional technical or scoping escalations and drive strict cross-functional alignment between software sales, services delivery, and regional practice leadership.
- Talent Scalability & Onboarding: Develop, refine, and implement structured regional onboarding programs that dramatically accelerate new-hire time-to-productivity and baseline utilization.
- SOW Portfolio Accountability: Accountable for regional scoping accuracy (SOW-to-delivery alignment) across the entire regional portfolio to systematically minimize downstream implementation risks and erosion of project margins.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Proven Senior Management: Meets all Level 3 prerequisites with a demonstrated track record of managing strategic regional outcomes and technical frameworks rather than just localized, tactical tasks.
- Minimum Experience: 12+ years working with customers in a pre-sales, post-sales, or solution architecture capacity within a technology or enterprise professional services organization.
- Management & Consulting: Minimum 5 years of direct people management experience leading customer-facing technical teams, along with 7+ years in data professional services or technical consulting.
- Escalation & Conflict Resolution Mastery: Proven ability to consistently manage, de-escalate, and resolve high-complexity regional technical and commercial issues with cross-functional executive stakes.
- Framework Design & Architecture: Demonstrated experience creating operational or technical frameworks (e.g., discovery guides, qualification frameworks, or enablement curricula) utilized at a regional scale.
- Advanced Technology Stack Fluency: Deep familiarity with modern multi-cloud data strategies (AWS, Azure, and GCP), data governance systems, advanced data integration concepts, and analytics platforms.
- Enterprise Operations Mastery: Demonstrated expertise managing pipeline forecasting and headcount deployment using enterprise tooling (Salesforce, Certinia/FinancialForce, Jira, or similar PPM tools).
- Preferred Certifications: Snowflake SnowPro Core and multiple Advanced certifications (e.g., Architect, Data Engineer, Data Scientist).
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
