Responsibilities

  • Create Developer Resources: Develop high-quality technical content including blog posts, tutorials, quickstarts, open-source demos, and code samples to help developers build with Snowflake.
  • Conference Engagement: Submit CFPs (Call for Papers), speak at developer conferences and major meetups across EMEA, and deliver engaging, hands-on technical sessions and demos.
  • Online Community Engagement: Engage meaningfully with developers across GitHub, Stack Overflow, Discord, Slack, Reddit, and other channels, offering guidance, sharing learnings, and contributing content based on community needs.
  • Contribute to the Community & DevRel Motion Working Group: Collaborate as a contributor alongside the Regional Head of Community & DevRel in EMEA to shape and support content for programs such as Northstar, BUILD, and User Groups.
  • Align Content Creation and Developer Advocacy strategy with the Regional Plan: Ensure all advocacy activities, content creation, events, and engagements are aligned with Snowflake’s regional developer goals and reinforce existing programs as we grow.
  • Support DevRel-Related Programs: Provide content and tactical support for developer-focused campaigns and product launches. Program strategy and ownership remain with the EMEA Community & DevRel team.
  • Developer Feedback Loop: Capture feedback from developer interactions at events and in the community, and report actionable insights to product and DevRel teams to support ongoing roadmap improvements.

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using tools like dbt and Notebooks
  • Strong portfolio of developer content across at least two programming languages
