We are looking for a skilled and reliable Pump Engineer to join one of the largest Fire Protection companies in the UK that offer fantastic training and development opportunities. Fire Protection experience isn't essential as training can be provided; they are looking for somebody experienced in Pumps / Engines / Motors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of fire pump systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of fire pump systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on diesel and electric fire pumps.
- Install and commission new fire pump systems when required.
- Perform testing and inspections to ensure systems meet safety and compliance requirements.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients when necessary.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
- £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary dependant on experience.
- Door to door pay with enhanced OT rates - current Pump engineers take home between £50,000 - £60,000 annually.
