Snowdon Recruitment are working with one of the largest Electrical companies in the UK who are looking to support their continued growth by bringing on board an Industrial Electrician in Southampton. Duties of the Industrial Electrician:
- Testing and Inspections
- Use all the tools and systems to ensure the data entered is accurate and up to date.
- Be a strong part of both the local and national team, while still owning your own tasks and staying responsible for all your assigned inspection and technical work.
- Ensure inspections and testing are done on time and follow the planned schedule.
- Write up and send out inspection reports clearly and professionally, ideally within the same day.
- Follow all the company’s health and safety procedures while you work.
- Carry out portable appliance (PAT) testing at customer sites safely and according to industry standards and health & safety laws.
- Perform inspections within your approved scope and ensure everything is recorded properly, following company guidelines.
- Offer technical and legal advice when needed, whether it’s to clients, teammates, or other contacts.
- Build solid relationships with clients and keep customer service top-notch at all times.
- Stay in close contact with the Regional Planner to keep the daily plan on track; if anything changes, let them know right away.
- Keep up with any updates to standards and laws around electrical installations, and be ready to adapt as needed.
