Snowdon Recruitment are working with a specialist renewables company who are looking for an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join their well-established Electrical team due to the anticipated growth of the company.

As an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing, approving, and pricing both domestic and workplace surveys to assess the feasibility of charge points and cable runs.
  • Liaising with clients both prior to installation and providing technical support afterwards as required.
  • Advising clients on the appropriate workplace charge points (training provided).
  • Producing quotes for required works and assessing the cost of completed works against budgets.
  • Managing the installation of charge points.
  • Conducting risk assessments for all installations.
  • Verifying the inspection and testing results from installers.
  • Carrying out on-site audits and post-installation inspections.
  • Being available for any NICEIC audits and annual assessments.
  • Serving as the company's registered Qualifying Supervisor.

This Electrical Qualifying Supervisor opportunity offers:

  • Salary: £45,000 (40-hour week)

The ideal person for the Electrical Qualifying Supervisor will possess:

  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Testing and inspecting qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5)
  • Ideally, City & Guilds 2922 & 2923 qualifications
  • Time-served experience
  • Experience in both domestic and commercial installations
  • At least 10 years experience
  • A background in EV chargers and solar installations is preferred but not essential.
