Snowdon Recruitment is looking for a skilled Electrical Tester to join our clients reputable electrical compliance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a range of commercial and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in both commercial and industrial settings.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and testing of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
- Identify, document, and report any defects, non-compliance issues, or safety hazards.
- Deliver clear and detailed reports on the state of electrical installations, with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Ensure all inspections align with current standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
- Stay informed on industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
- Communicate findings clearly with clients, addressing questions and offering technical guidance as needed.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment in line with requirements.
- Consistently follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 / Gold Card
- City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
- Minimum of three years commercial/industrial testing experience
- 18th Edition
- In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
- Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
