Currently working with a growing business within the Building Services and Facilities Management sector that is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager. This position will focus heavily on new business generation, targeting service, maintenance and installation opportunities across commercial and public sector clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building their own pipeline, developing long-term client relationships, and identifying opportunities across sectors including commercial property, FM, healthcare, education and industrial environments. This role would suit someone who enjoys the full sales process from prospecting and opening doors through to securing long-term contracts and growing accounts.
- Generate new business through proactive sales activity and networking
- Identify opportunities for maintenance contracts and project work
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
Previous Business Development experience within FM, Electrical, HVAC, Fire & Security or Building Services is required, along with a proven track record of winning new business, strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills. A full UK driving licence is also required.
Competitive basic salary, car allowance or company vehicle, and clear progression opportunities are offered.
