An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join a well-established and growing team. This role focuses on Fire Alarm Installation, high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. Every day is different, offering variety and challenge.

Key Duties:

  • Install:
  • Fire alarm systems (BS5839-1 compliant)
  • Emergency lighting systems
  • Diagnose faults and aim to complete first-time fixes
  • Complete detailed and accurate service reports
  • Maintain and inspect additional life safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and AOVs
  • Conduct regular stock checks and manage van inventory
  • Follow health & safety procedures and report any risks promptly
  • Requirements:

    • Experience with conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
    • FIA training or equivalent certification (BS5839-1 Fundamentals)
    • Strong understanding of BS5839 (Parts 1 and 6)
    • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
    • Basic IT skills for completing digital reports
    • Flexible approach to working hours, including participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota
    • Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
