A Fire Alarm Engineer is required to carry out the servicing, testing, and breakdown support of fire alarm systems across a range of client sites. The role involves working both within the local area and, when necessary, travelling to sites nationwide.
A sign-on bonus equivalent to one month’s basic salary is available for candidates who apply directly. This will be paid upon the successful completion of the probationary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining, and testing fire alarm systems
- Identifying faults and responding to breakdowns
- Attending a variety of client sites
- Travelling within an allocated region and nationally when required
- Participating in and adhering to an on-call rota
Essential Criteria
- Full UK driving licence
- Electrical experience relating to fire alarm systems
- Strong working knowledge of BS5839
- Willingness to travel as required
- Ability to take part in on-call duties
Desirable Criteria
- IPAF and/or PASMA certification
- FIA qualifications
- ECS / CSCS card
