Snowdon Recruitment is looking for a skilled Domestic Electrician to join our client’s reputable electrical compliance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in social housing. Domestic Electrician Key Responsibilities: · Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in social housing · Conduct comprehensive inspections and testing of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment. · Identify, document, and report any defects, non-compliance issues, or safety hazards. · Deliver clear and detailed reports on the state of electrical installations, with recommendations for corrective actions. · Ensure all inspections align with current standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations. · Stay informed on industry standards, legislation, and best practices. · Communicate findings clearly with clients, addressing questions and offering technical guidance as needed. · Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment in line with requirements. · Consistently follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Domestic Electrician Qualifications: · City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing. · 18th Edition · In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes. · Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
