Snowball is looking for a YouTube Video Editor to shape and execute YouTube-first video formats for a leading global beauty brand known for its passionate community and expertise in hair care.

The Opportunity
Our client is building a YouTube channel designed to educate, inspire, and entertain. As YouTube Video Editor, you’ll craft long-form, YouTube-first content with strong pacing, clear narrative structure, and retention-focused storytelling. You’ll help transform hair education, transformations, and creator-led content into visually engaging stories that feel authentic to the beauty space while maintaining high production quality. You’ll work closely with Snowball’s YouTube growth experts (27M+ subs, 110B+ views) and the brand’s internal creative team to experiment with formats, refine storytelling, and edit content that resonates with millions.
What You’ll Do
- Edit YouTube-first beauty and lifestyle content aligned with the brand’s voice and community.
- Craft narratives with strong pacing, clear hooks, and retention-driven creative choices.
- Deliver polished long-form videos, cutdowns, short-form clips, and social assets.
- Support channel publishing and optimization, including uploads, metadata, thumbnails, and packaging to maximize discovery and performance.
- Collaborate with producers and creative partners to refine story arcs and experiment with new formats.
- Maintain organized project timelines and file structures for consistent delivery.
- Use performance insights and audience behavior to evolve editing style and improve engagement.
- Help elevate the visual storytelling of tutorials, transformations, creator features, and educational content.
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of professional video editing experience with a strong YouTube storytelling portfolio (required).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or comparable editing software.
- Experience with graphic design, motion graphics, or YouTube thumbnail creation is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of YouTube pacing, retention tactics, and platform best practices.
- Experience editing beauty, lifestyle, expert/creator-led, or transformation-based content.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong creative instincts and a high bar for polish.
- Collaborative and adaptable, comfortable working in fast-moving production environments.
