What You\βll Be Accountable For:
- Team Leadership:
Manage and support a team of skilled NDT and DT technicians across a multi-shift operation, fostering a high quality-performance and safety-first culture. - Process Development:
Continuously improve and standardise NDT and DT processes in line with the latest Group Standards and best practices. - Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all testing equipment is operated safely and responsibly. Keep all work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) current, clear, and adhered to. - Data Integrity:
Guarantee the accurate and consistent collection, recording, and interpretation of weld and measurement data ensuring traceability and insight. - Performance Evaluation:
Interpret testing data to assess process performance, identifying trends and recommending timely interventions where required. - Technical Expertise:
Act as a key advisor on all matters related to NDT and DT processes, including data analysis, testing strategies, and continuous improvement opportunities. - Quality Support:
Collaborate with the Quality Department to inform decisions based on test data and outcomes, supporting robust product verification and customer satisfaction. - Standards & Compliance:
Champion adherence to product, process, and customer quality standards through consistent application and understanding of test methodologies and outcomes. - Staff Development:
Evaluate and develop technician performance, promoting efficiency, accuracy, and professional growth in NDT/DT techniques.
