Working Hours: Monday - Friday following an early and late shift rotation with overtime requirement.
Main assignment: As Logistics Team Leader, you will actively support in planning and co-ordinating the day-to-day workload of the Logistics department to ensure that all warehousing and stores activities, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and goods, run safely and efficiently. In addition, you will operate manual handling equipment to ensure the safe, efficient, secure, and controlled receipt, storage, and movement of stock/materials in accordance with company procedures.
As a Logistics Team Leader, you are accountable for:
- Providing input into the management of direct reports including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, reward and recognition, and training and development.
- Supporting the logistics supervisor in planning, coordinating, and deploying resources on-shift to achieve operational goals and objectives, ensuring internal/external customer satisfaction.
- Working with the logistics supervisor to oversee daily operations and workflow; ensuring delivery On Time and In Full (OTIF) to internal and external customers.
- Providing holiday/absence cover for the logistics supervisor, including but not limited to being the point of contact for the logistics warehouse.
- Co-ordinating operational changes/concerns, for example; material shortages, defected/damaged parts in the absence of the logistics supervisor.
- Operating manual handling equipment, ensuring the safe, efficient, secure, and controlled receipt, storage, and movement of stock/materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintaining SAP MRP by accurately inputting various transactions, record updating, and reporting as required.
