As Surgical Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) you will be responsible for providing high‑quality surgical nursing care to pets. Day‑to‑day tasks include:
- Preparing animals for surgery
- Monitoring anesthesia
- Assisting during surgical procedures
- Providing post‑operative care
You will collaborate closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient clinical operations. This is a part‑time on‑site role located in our Bounds Green clinic, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in surgical nursing, including preparation, monitoring anesthesia, and post‑operative care
- RVN with at least 2 years experience
- Strong understanding of veterinary care principles and practices
- Proficiency in client communication and delivering compassionate care to pets and their owners
- Team collaboration and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced clinical environment
- RVN accreditation and registration with the RCVS
- Prior experience in a surgical veterinary setting
