Overview: My client is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced "strategic" Business Development Manager to join their expanding sales team. This role is responsible for leading and driving the sales growth of a market leading and Enterprise wide Managed BPO services portfolio around Core Digital Banking (FinTech), Cloud, AI, business apps and digital transformation projects within Europe across the Financial and Professional Services industry sector on a new business/new logo basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead New Business Development Initiatives: Identify, develop, and close £5M-£10M+ ACV services deals on a new business basis within the Financial services (Banking & Insurance) & Professional services sector.
- Strategic Sales: Own the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing up to & including the C-Suite.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organisations.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay informed on market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, solution architecture, and project delivery teams.
- Revenue Growth and Targets: Achieve and exceed defined sales targets and KPIs.
- Proposal Development and Presentation: Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Networking and Industry Presence: Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 10+ years of proven new business development/new logo acquisition experience within B2B IT services sales.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of SaaS/AI/Cloud/Transformation/FinTech/ERP/CRM software solutions.
- Sales Expertise: Strong background in B2B solution sales, lead generation, and closing strategies.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Team Player: Collaborative, with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Location: This is a remote role based within the UK (England).
Education: A degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
