We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Inclusion Officer to join our team based either from our Basingstoke, Blandford or Hurn office. This is a hybrid role working 2 days per week in the office. Our Thriving Communities strategy sets out ambitious goals to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents through an asset-based community development approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new and improve existing digital inclusion initiatives.
  • Work with customer support teams to maximize the impact of digital inclusion offers for customers.
  • Support the operational activities of Digital Inclusion programmes across SNG communities.
  • Collaborate with the Financial and Digital Inclusion Manager to develop a full digital inclusion offer that helps customers get online or increase online activity.
  • Report and analyse the impact of programmes to evaluate, assess value for money and inform future planning.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in a similar role or background in housing or digital inclusion (beneficial but not essential).
  • Excellent organisational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders and partners.
  • Strong analytical mindset with keen eye for data and questioning approach.
  • Reflective yet action‑focused nature, able to question and analyse data.
  • Customer‑centric approach – Customer is at the heart of everything we do.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with internal teams.
