Senior Treasury Analyst in Wembley

SNG (Sovereign Network Group) is one of the largest housing associations in England. We provide over 85,000 homes and invest in communities across the South, West and East of England, including London, as well as building thousands of new affordable homes every year.

We\’re looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our team in Wembley. You\’ll play a key role in leading on hedge accounting under FRS102 and analytics to support Treasury initiatives. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply experience of detailed understanding of FRS102 to hedge accounting.
• Responsible for swap valuations and TMS integrations for derivatives.
• Support month-end processes, covenant reporting, and preparation of management information
• Take ownership of liquidity forecasting.
• Provide treasury project analysis to the Head of Core Treasury and Treasury Director to support Treasury initiatives.
• Become a superuser for the administration and operations of the Treasury Management System (‘TMS\’).
• Provide cover for managing the short-term debt portfolio.
• Set up and maintain templates on banking platforms and perform other banking activities.

About you

You\’ll bring strong treasury expertise and a proactive approach to managing complex financial processes. To succeed in this role, you\’ll need:

• Leading on hedge accounting under FRS102.
• Highly advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manage and analyse large datasets.
• Previous experience working in a treasury function.
• Hands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems, ideally FIS Integrity.
• Strong numerical ability and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Qualified accountant / ACT qualified.
