Are you a safety and compliance specialist with a background in working in the Fire sector? We have a permanent opportunity as a Senior Safety Compliance Officer, within our Building Safety Team. You'll be based from our offices in Wembley with the opportunity to combine office and home working to ensure a positive work/life balance.
The position is technical and will ensure that SNG is compliant with their landlord responsibilities and adhere to regulations and legislation. You will work with the Safety and Compliance Specialist – Fire and provide robust management in all areas of fire related activities. Utilise technical expertise in passive and active fire measures, and in-depth practical knowledge of fire risk assessments and mitigating risks. The role will ensure high level contract management and resolve problems. Responsible for the effective development, oversight and management of all fire related cyclical servicing, inspection, and upgrade programmes.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead on all elements of contract management relating to the current and future contract management of fire activities in a transparent manner, including identifying, recording, and addressing underperformance and breaches.
- Responsible for the development of cyclical inspection, upgrade and servicing programmes.
