We're looking for an experienced, proactive Contracts Manager focusing on the delivery of outsourced fire & security maintenance works as part of our Technical Services Team. The role can be based from any of our offices across the South and South West.
Utilising your contract management expertise and experience, you'll ensure all outsourced fire and security works are delivered to SNG specification and standards through the monitoring of contractor performance. You will be responsible for managing the cost and risk of contracts, ensuring value for money, and maintaining compliance with all legal and quality standards. This role will be key in ensuring that all activities are carried out competently, safely, and in alignment with SNG's commitments, monitoring performance, and adhering to regulatory obligations.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven track record of success in contract management focusing on fire & security works
- Previous experience in Fire Door Inspections, fire risk assessor or building surveyor experience
- Good understanding of life safety systems including emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, dry risers and fire dampers
- Ability to plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets, to deliver a value for money service whilst taking actions to mitigate any risks
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation with focus on compliance within all activities undertaken by subcontractors
- Relevant qualifications in fire and security with evidence of maintaining an up-to-date knowledge
