Join us at SNG (Sovereign Network Group) as an Income Officer in the Customer Accounts team in Hurn.
Pay range: This range is provided by SNG (Sovereign Network Group). Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range: This is a part‑time, permanent role (25.5 hours per week) with a starting salary of £18,243 – £21,284 per year (full time equivalent £30,000 – £35,000) and a hybrid working pattern – a mix of home, office, and customer visits.
What you’ll be doing:
- Proactively manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring payments are collected promptly and arrears are minimised.
- Take early action to prevent arrears and provide tailored support.
- Negotiate affordable and sustainable repayment arrangements.
- Monitor payment plans and take appropriate recovery action when needed.
- Prepare documentation and represent SNG at court hearings if required.
- Provide advice on welfare benefits and carry out income and expenditure assessments.
- Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure customers receive the right support.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

- Knowledge of arrears management, debt recovery processes, and income collection.
- Understanding of welfare benefits and ability to carry out affordability assessments.

- Flexibility to work from the office and visit customers – a full driving licence and access to a car are required.
