We are looking for an experienced and qualified Fire & Security Engineer to join our Property Compliance Team covering the Devon area. You will receive a business use van and fuel card to cover travel expenses.
What you’ll do:
- Test, service and install fire systems, emergency lighting, AOV, CCTV.
- Identify faults and repair or install equipment.
- Work with door entry, door access and door operators.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum 2 years industry experience.
- F.I.A or equivalent certifications.
- Electrical qualification desirable (not essential).
- Proven experience with fire or door entry & access desirable.
- Training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Must have experience working in occupied premises and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Enjoy working independently or as part of a team and be confident using IT technology such as iPads.
This is a full‑time role (40 hours per week). Participation in the out‑of‑hours rota, minimum one in ten weeks, may supplement salary. Must hold a full and current driving licence with at least two years driving experience and be able to drive a company van. Preference for candidates living within a 20‑mile radius of Exeter. Role subject to satisfactory licence check and essential qualifications check.
