We're currently looking for an experienced and qualified Fire & Security Engineer to join our Property Compliance Team covering the Devon area. As you'll spend a fair amount of time on the road we will provide you with a business use van and fuel card so you'll not be out of pocket.
What you'll do:
- Test/Service/Install Fire Systems/Emergency Lighting/AOV/CCTV
- Identify faults and repair/Install Door Entry/Door Access/Door Operators
What you'll need:
- A minimum of 2 years Industry Experience
- F.I.A or equivalent Certifications
- Ideally be Electrically Qualified although not essential
- Proven Industry work experience for fire/door entry & access will be desirable
- Training can be provided for the right candidate.
You should have experience of working in occupied premises and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. You'll enjoy working alone or as part of a team and be confident in using IT technology such as iPads.
This is a full-time role, working 40 Hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through your participation in the out of hours rota, minimum 1 in 10 weeks.
Due to the requirement to travel within this role, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and have the ability to drive a company van. The candidate should ideally be living within a 20 mile radius of Exeter which would be a preference. This role is subject to a satisfactory licence check and essential qualifications check.
