We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Inclusion Officer to join our team based either from our Basingstoke, Blandford or Christchurch office. This is a hybrid role working 2 days per week in the office, and is an exciting opportunity to be hugely influential in making our heart beat.
Our Thriving Communities strategy sets out our ambitious goals to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents through an asset-based community development approach. In this role you'll develop excellent relationships with partners to deliver digital inclusion projects across SNG communities, ensuring we meet the aims of our corporate plan and Thriving Communities strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new and improving existing digital inclusion initiatives
- Working with our customer support teams to make sure our digital inclusion offers can make the best and biggest impact for our customers
- Supporting the operational activities of our Digital Inclusion programmes across SNG communities
- Working with the Financial and Digital Inclusion Manager to continue to develop a full digital inclusion offer that supports our customers to either get online for the first time or do more online
- Reporting and analysing the impact of our programmes to help evaluate, assess value for money and inform future planning
A basic DBS check will also be undertaken for the successful candidate.
What we need from you:
- Experience in a similar role or from a background in housing or a role focussed on digital inclusion would be beneficial but isn't essential.
- Demonstrates excellent organisational and customer service skills
- Has the ability to build and maintain strong and productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders and partners
- Possesses a keen eye for data and questioning approach to work
- Has a reflective yet action focused nature with the ability to question and analyse data
- Shows a customer centric approach to your work - Customer is at the heart of everything we do
- Has strong IT skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Has strong communication skills and is able to build strong relationships with our internal teams.
