We're pleased to have an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Development Engineer to help us shape the future. Based from our Wembley office, you'll work hybrid from home and in the office 2 days per week.
As a Cloud Development Engineer, you'll play an important role in the technical planning, development, and delivery of cloud-based solutions and change initiatives across the organisation. You'll work closely with our Technical Delivery Manager and Cloud Technical Design Lead to deliver innovative digital services to support over 140,000 of our customers.
Key responsibilities:- Build, configure, test, and deploy cloud-based solutions across multiple environments.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation including low-level designs and configuration manuals.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and other IT professionals to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
- Support the implementation of new systems and services aligned with best practices.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and apply them to improve our services and infrastructure.
- Provide post-deployment technical support and contribute to ongoing service improvement.
- Proven experience in technical delivery and cloud engineering, ideally within a complex IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), IT infrastructure, and modern systems architecture.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, Cherwell, and experience working in Agile environments.
- Ability to create and scrutinise technical designs and drive practical implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
