We have an opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our Investment and Development team.

The Role

As an Executive Assistant, you'll provide high-quality personal, secretarial, and administrative support to the Executive Director. This is a trusted role at the heart of the organisation, requiring excellent judgement, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a confidential and professional manner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop into a wider role within the Investment and Development team.

Responsibilities

  • Providing confidential, high-quality personal assistance and administrative support to the Executive Director.
  • Managing a complex diary, coordinating meetings, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
  • Monitoring and reviewing departmental expenditure against agreed budgets and support forecasting activity.
  • Provide full secretariat support to the Departmental Leadership Team, including preparation of reports.
  • Prepare agendas and papers and take minutes for Management Boards and Committee meetings as required.
  • Produce and maintain an annual timetable of all Board, Committee, Team, and other internal meetings.

What we're looking for

  • Familiarity with financial and investment concepts OR understanding of the affordable housing development sector.
  • Exceptional organisational and diary management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex schedules and competing priorities.
  • Strong written communication: drafting correspondence, preparing board-level papers, and producing accurate minutes.
  • High level of confidentiality, discretion, and professional judgement when managing sensitive information.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leaders, external partners, and board members.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong digital proficiency, including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AI) and document management systems.
  • Ability to manage and track actions across multiple projects and workstreams.
