We have an opportunity for an Apprentice Public Relations and Communications Assistant to join us at SNG. You'll be part of our Communications team, with an office base in Basingstoke. The salary starts from £15,680 depending on your age and experience.

The Apprenticeship
This apprenticeship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in our Communications and External Affairs team. You’ll work across a range of areas, including customer communications, media, and stakeholder engagement. This will help you learn how we share our story with customers, partners, and the wider community.
In this role, you will:
- Support the creation of content for both digital and offline channels
- Help with communication campaigns and planning activities
- Get involved in customer and stakeholder engagement work
- Gain insight into how the organisation operates and makes decisions
You’ll develop a broad range of skills and experience, rather than focusing on just one area. This will help you build confidence and prepare for your future career. You'll also be attending college to complete a Level 4 Public Relations and Communications Assistant qualification.
The Details
We have attached a Candidate Guide to this role. This will help you with the application form and let you know what questions we are going to ask you. To complete the Level 4 course you'll ideally have, or be working towards a Maths and English GCSE.
You can apply until midnight on the 23rd June 2026. We will let you know if you will be invited to our assessment days by Tuesday 14th July. The assessment day will take place on the 24th July, please make sure you are available.
