The Supply Chain Analyst plays a critical role in enabling and improving global supply chain performance by providing high-quality data analysis, reporting, and insight across Supply Planning and Logistics. The role delivers accurate KPI reporting, supports inventory and inbound visibility, maintains and improves master data accuracy, and supports process optimisation across supply chain functions. In addition, the role owns the analysis, governance, and optimisation of inventory parameters (min/max), ensuring alignment to service, cost, and cash objectives.
Operating across multiple ERP systems, the role is responsible for ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment of data, reporting, and parameter logic, providing a reliable and unified view of performance to support decision making. Working closely with Supply Planning and Logistics functions, this role provides critical analytical capability, operational support, and reporting structure to enable informed, data-driven decision making and continuous improvement across the global supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Insight
- Produce high-quality analytical insight across supply planning and logistics performance
- Analyse trends in availability, inventory, inbound flow, logistics performance, and exception data
- Analyse the effectiveness of inventory parameters, including min/max settings, coverage levels, and reorder behaviour
- Provide actionable insights that support decision-making across Supply Planning and Logistics
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting service, cost, and inventory performance
- Reporting & KPI Delivery
- Maintain and deliver KPI reporting across supply planning and logistics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reporting packs as required
- Support the development and continuous improvement of dashboards and reporting tools
- Ensure KPI definitions, calculations, and reporting logic are consistent across functions and systems
- Inventory Parameters & Replenishment Logic
- Own the analysis, maintenance, and ongoing optimisation of min and max parameters across all ERP systems
- Review and adjust parameters based on demand trends, lead times, variability, and service targets
- Ensure consistent parameter logic and application across multiple ERP systems and datasets
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in parameter settings that impact availability, inventory levels, or cost
- Master Data & Systems Support
- Maintain and validate supply chain master data across multiple ERP systems
- Ensure consistency and alignment of data definitions, structures, and reporting across systems
- Support ongoing master data improvements to enhance planning, inbound flow, and logistics processes
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies across systems, ensuring a reliable and unified data view
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, completeness, and cross-system accuracy
- Process & Continuous Improvement
- Support improvement initiatives across Supply Planning and Logistics
- Assist in simplifying, standardising, and improving supply chain processes
- Support optimisation of inbound flow, planning processes, and data & cost structures
- Operational Support
- Provide analytical support to Supply Planning and Logistics functions on data-driven tasks
- Assist with investigation of supply chain issues and provide analytical input for resolution
- Support cross-functional teams with required data, analysis, and insight
- ERP & Transformation Support
- Support ERP migration activities, including reporting, data validation, and process alignment
- Work with Supply Planning and Logistics functions to ensure data and reporting requirements are captured during system changes
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain, analytics, or data-driven operations roles
- Very strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and experience with Access or similar tools
- Experience with Power BI or equivalent analytics platforms desirable
- Strong ERP experience and understanding of supply chain data flows
- Excellent attention to detail and structured problem-solving approach
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and functions
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, or related field preferred
- Experience in complex, multi-SKU environments advantageous
