Join us as a Senior Engineering Manager in our Transportation Project Delivery Practice team, overseeing the technical delivery of diverse transportation projects, including Highways, Rail & Transit. You will manage engineering teams, collaborate on all project stages, and support clients like National Highways and Local Authorities.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership on major transportation projects.
- Supervise engineering work across project stages.
- Act as Engineering Manager / Technical Leader.
- Ensure compliance with CDM and act as Principal Designer when required.
- Build and lead cohesive, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Coordinate cross-discipline interfaces for successful project delivery.
- Apply systems engineering approaches for assurance.
- Maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare proposals, tenders, and responses for pre-qualification.
- Expand the engineering management workbank and identify new opportunities.
Qualifications and experience:
- Proven management of multi-disciplinary highway design and construction projects.
- Experience leading major highway projects and working with design-build contractors.
- Knowledge of highway promotion through statutory and DCO processes.
- Degree in engineering or related field; Chartered or Incorporated status.
- Understanding of safety standards and regulations like MCDHW, DMRB, Manual for Streets.
- Track record of business development and client engagement.
- Mentoring skills for junior engineers.
