It is recognised by the APM as a fast–track, Pathway 4, route to Chartership.## Your RoleBring your expertise to the Secure Government Business Unit as a Project Manager where you’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of some of our secure government projects. You will report to the Project Director and some of your responsibilities will include:* Delivering as the main point of contact for the client whilst managing the end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with Secure Government governance and our Project Management Framework standards.* Developing and maintaining the Project Management Plan, Quality Plan, and Risk Register.* Monitoring and controlling project performance against schedule, cost, and quality baselines.* Managing suppliers and ensuring all commercial and contractual obligations are met, including those related to security and confidentiality.* Defining project organisation and roles; building high-performing psychologically safe teams.* Understand and sell the capabilities and services we can offer to the project and end client.* Pursuing opportunities for contract extensions and supporting business development through proactive engagement during delivery whilst building a trusted partnership with the client.## About you* Demonstrable experience in project management. Experience within secure government, MOD or Critical National Infrastructure markets are desirable, but not essential.* Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.* Commercial awareness and financial management capability.* Understanding of risk management, quality assurance, and government security processes.* Familiarity with project management tools and systems (e.g., EcoSys, secure document management).* PM accreditation aligned to project risk categorisation and security requirements.* Results-focused with the drive to keep on learning.* Effective verbal and written communication, active listening, and empathy.* Ability to work well in a team with a collaborative & innovative mindset.* Manage client demands whilst contributing to the development of the Delivery Optimisation sub-practice and Core Market.## Reward & benefitsExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
