The CREWS team (Corporate Real Estate, Workplace and Services) is a high performing team with an excellent reputation across the AtkinsRéalis business for the management of their portfolio of office locations across the UK, Europe and Middle East. (This region may flex as we move to future ways of working). The current portfolio has approximately 150 properties split across the 3 regions. The offices are occupied by the AtkinsRéalis. The properties are generally Leasehold and a mixture of sole occupier and multi-occupied buildings. The CREWS Project Manager will report to the Director of Estates and Capital Projects. Our objective is to manage the CREWS portfolio efficiently and effectively and in line with the agreed Real Estate Strategy.

Your purpose
- Effective delivery of project management services.
- Management and execution of Workplace Projects through the whole project life cycle, utilising best practice methodology.
- Establish and build positive and collaborative relationships with all project stakeholders in accordance with AtkinsRéalis values.
- Act as the client representative, managing design, planning, procurement, construction, and handover.
- Responsibility for the commercial success of projects placed under your control, including the effective and efficient management of project, governance, and resource requirements.
- Ensuring service delivery compliance with AtkinsRéalis policies, toolkits, and standards.
- Provide guidance, leadership, and technical expertise to team members.
- Work with colleagues to mentor, coordinate and support the development activities of junior team members.
- Support senior colleagues on large scale complex projects.
- Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams to optimise workplace environments.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and consultants.
- Constantly look at ways to improve the CREWS team.
What you can bring
You’ll need to be of Graduate calibre with a Professional Real Estate or Construction related degree and be a chartered member (or working towards) a recognised professional institute (MRICS, CIOB, MAPM or equivalent). Positive, collaborative, and innovative in approach and able to work on your own initiative, you’ll also have:
- Experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams & delivering successful projects through a recognised project management methodology.
- Sound technical project management knowledge demonstrating established experience and aptitude.
- Experience of administering standard UK building contracts (NEC and JCT forms) and ability to advise on appropriate procurement routes.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation relevant to the UK construction industry.
- Committed to ongoing personal development.
- The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships, work collaboratively as well as independently, and deliver results with commercial insight. You’ll be tech-savvy, passionate about creating exceptional workplaces, and committed to high performance.
- A valid driving licence is essential. Flexible working arrangements are available and will be discussed at interview. Travel within the UK+I is required.
