Your role
- Support the establishment of programmes and programme management offices.
- Manage programmes of work, often within complex stakeholder environments.
- Lead stakeholder engagement across the programme, including senior members of the Clients Team. Support the meeting/exceeding KPI’s and SLA’s set for our business.
- Programme Management lead, continually improving our service delivery toolkit and establishing best practice in the Programme community.
- Work closely with other members of the Programme Team to create reports, understand the data, create actions and manage them through to completion.
- Innovate processes, approaches and styles of data handling, conversion and querying. Analyse and review information from a range of data sources in order to identify how different options may impact programme delivery. Advise clients and internal stakeholders on potential implications.
- Collaboration with other offices, service lines, sectors of the business to provide combined and innovative solutions to improve our competitive advantage within the Programme and Portfolio arena.
About you
- Degree‑level qualification (Undergraduate or Master’s). A background in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or facilities management is desirable but not essential.
- Advanced programme and portfolio management qualification (e.g. MSP Practitioner, P3O Practitioner, MoP, PgMP or equivalent), with demonstrable application at scale.
- Extensive experience leading complex, multi‑workstream programmes or PMO functions, preferably within property, construction, infrastructure or real‑estate‑led environments.
- Proven ability to set programme strategy, define governance, and manage interdependencies across multiple projects, stakeholders and suppliers.
- Strong understanding of the full project and programme lifecycle, including business case development, benefits realisation, commercial controls, risk management and assurance.
- Experience operating at senior stakeholder level, providing clear direction, challenge and assurance to sponsors, clients and executive leadership.
- Advanced capability in programme reporting, insight and decision support, including expert use of Power BI to develop dashboards, performance narratives and executive‑level reporting.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced use of Power Platform, Power Query and Smartsheets, with the ability to define standards, automate reporting and improve programme controls.
- Demonstrated leadership of programme teams, PMs and PMO professionals, including coaching, mentoring and performance management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, high‑quality outputs for senior audiences and maintain rigorous attention to detail.
