We have brought together a team of 180 consultants and engineers with deep expertise across asset management, intelligent mobility, smart technology, and digital and data solutions within the transport environment. This role is aligned to a network of UK office locations: Birmingham, Cambridge, Epsom, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Flexible working is a central part of our culture. Your role
- We are seeking Consultants across multiple grades with a strong technical capability in safety and operations, alongside an ability to support client engagement and business growth.
- Undertake safety activities such as hazard identification, safety risk assessment and assurance.
- Contribute to studies, analysis and solution development, including digital and data-driven approaches.
- Work collaboratively and engage with design teams, supporting the integration of safe operation and maintenance considerations into design.
- Prepare clear, concise and high-quality written deliverables, including reports, technical notes and presentations.
- Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Support the identification and development of opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of high-quality bids and proposals.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support market engagement activities and contribute to a positive team culture and development of colleagues.

Desirable Experience
- Experience applying Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) GG104 Requirements for Safety Risk Assessment.
- Experience of Safety Risk Management or Safety Governance processes.
- Experience within transportation or intelligent mobility sectors.
- Exposure to supporting bids, proposals or client-facing activities.
- Familiarity with UK transport clients (e.g. National Highways, Department for Transport, local authorities).
