As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for delivering work that is driven by excellence as well as doing the right thing. Our teams work across a wide range of complex infrastructure sectors, including rail, local transport, utilities, defence, aviation, energy and highways. You’ll also be a catalyst for your colleagues’ career progression, working with a variety of Client teams on secondments lasting from 6 months to multiple years.

Responsibilities:
- Collaboration – Working in the client team and liaising with leadership, project managers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships.
- Cost Management – Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure the project is delivered within budget. Validating and managing contractor and supplier costs & payments.
- Reporting – Providing regular financial reports to ensure our clients have confidence in their project outcomes. Presenting financial performance and risk updates to stakeholders.
- Procurement – Undertaking procurement or supporting the procurement team in evaluating and appointing contractors.
- Contract Administration – Administering various contract types, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions. Managing contract change review, validity, quotations and ensuring timely submissions and agreement.
- Working closely with the Project Manager to maintain accurate and comprehensive project records.
- Risk and Value Management – Identifying, analysing, and mitigating commercial risks. Assisting in value engineering to optimise project performance.
- Developing Colleagues – Working closely with your team to encourage development and advance your colleagues' career progression.
Qualifications:
- Member, or working towards membership, of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent, recognised body.
- Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
- Experience in civil infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience with common forms of UK Construction contracts such as NEC, ICC, FIDIC, or JCT.
- Experience in managing, coaching or mentoring junior colleagues.
