We are recruiting an individual for our Movement & Place (Transport Planning) discipline to support the delivery of a broad range of transport planning projects across the North East of England. We are currently delivering several exciting schemes, using the latest modelling tools and appraisal techniques to assess bus, rail, and road interventions alongside active travel and public realm initiatives. Our regional team also supports national projects, working with local and national government bodies as well as private sector clients.
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team, contributing to project delivery, business development, and activities including scheme appraisal, business case development, stakeholder engagement, and strategy development.
We are looking for an individual who wishes to contribute to a high performing, dynamic team that works seamlessly with our wider national Movement & Place business. Collaborating with specialists from across our business as part of multi-disciplinary teams, you’ll work on projects which inform transport policy, monitor and review the performance of transport schemes as well as flagship regeneration, development and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will join a team with a well‑balanced blend of skills focused on meeting our client needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to add further value and support our ambitious growth agenda.

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
