This role combines technical, strategic planning, and hands-on delivery management to ensure successful deployment and integration of mobile robotic platforms and IoT ecosystems.As part of our Digital, Products and Technology (DP&T) team, the Mobile Robotics and IoT Delivery Lead will play a pivotal role in realising our 2030 drive to double the business by deploying cutting-edge digital solutions across markets. Our vision is to turbocharge growth by solving our clients’ most complex developmental experience through scalable, interoperable technologies, including robotics, IoT, AI, and immersive systems. This role will be instrumental in driving the “lab and factory” innovation model, where early-stage ideas are rapidly developed and scaled into robust, market-ready solutions. By integrating robotics and IoT into our broader digital ecosystem, the Delivery Lead will help differentiate our offerings, strengthen client relationships, and contribute directly to our strategic growth pillars: automation for efficiency, data-enriched evaluation, and removing humans from hazardous environments.**Your Purpose:*** Program Leadership: End-to-end delivery of mobile robotics and IoT initiatives, from concept through deployment and support.* Solution Architecture & Integration: Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and interoperable systems.* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.* Vendor & Partner Management: Evaluate, onboard, and manage technology partners and vendors for hardware, software, and services.* Project Delivery: Oversee project timelines, budgets, risk management, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes.* Innovation & R&D: -Stay abreast of emerging technologies in robotics, IoT, edge computing, and AI to inform strategic direction.* Compliance & Security: Ensure all solutions meet regulatory, safety, and cybersecurity standards.* Team Leadership: Mentor and guide delivery teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement.**What you can bring:*** Proven experience delivering complex robotics and/or IoT projects at scale.* Strong understanding of mobile robotics platforms (AGVs, AMRs, drones, etc.) and IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, etc.).* Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and edge computing architectures.* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.* Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.* Background in engineering, computer science, or related technical field.The UK is the first major economy to legislate for a Net Zero target by 2050.
