You will collaborate day‐to‐day with Architects, Architectural Technologists, Interior Designers and Structural and Building Services Engineers, working within teams that span graduates through to senior experts and directors. This role is particularly suited to someone ready to take ownership of key aspects of a project from concept through to delivery, including leading a small team of assistants. We are seeking a motivated Project Architect to join our London and Epsom Studio and play a meaningful role in the delivery of varied multidisciplinary projects.
We are also expanding our Buildings & Places teams in London and Epsom and are looking to recruit an Architect who is keen to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment where they can take on real responsibility across the full design lifecycle. Our teams work across a broad range of sectors — including education, regeneration, commercial, transport, residential, energy, defence, heritage and urban redevelopment — offering outstanding opportunities to gain diverse experience while developing your own specialism.

Your Role
- You will join a team where the primary focus is your professional growth, ensuring you are positively challenged and exposed to a multi‐disciplined environment along with meaningful client‐facing opportunities.
- You will take an active role in sustaining and developing relationships with existing and new clients, helping to strengthen trust and long‐term collaboration.
- You will ensure that your design responses are pragmatic and aligned with the client brief, while considering the unique opportunities and constraints of each site — including climate, context and culture.
- You will contribute to developing designs that are firmly rooted in a strong narrative and continue to enhance the reputation of the studio. You will be responsible for reporting on activity, gathering feedback and analysing success factors, helping to support continuous improvement across projects.
- You will help shape and strengthen the design culture and capability of our multi‐disciplinary design team(s), contributing to a collaborative, thoughtful and design‐driven environment.
- You will play an engaged and proactive role within the team, ensuring your approach supports high‐quality delivery and reflects the needs of our clients and projects.
About You
- You are RIBA Part 3 qualified and ARB registered, with demonstrable experience delivering complex projects and a strong understanding of UK Building Regulations.
- You bring proven experience across multiple sectors, working directly with clients, contractors and multi‐disciplinary design teams.
- You have a strong grasp of the full architectural design process, with the capability to deliver projects from concept and planning through detailed design, construction and completion.
- You demonstrate sound technical knowledge, including compliance, UK building systems, construction types and regulatory processes.
- You consistently deliver accurate, high‐quality work across projects of varying scale and complexity.
- You are comfortable taking responsibility for defined project roles or work packages, showing awareness of project budgets, programmes and a developing financial acumen.
- You bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, produce high‐quality design outputs, present confidently to clients, lead multidisciplinary teams and manage specialist consultants.
- You are proficient in Bentley / OpenBuilding Designer, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape and/or V‐Ray, and work with a proactive, organised and collaborative "can do" attitude under pressure.

Security clearance
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
