This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are motivated to learn and develop technical and analytical skills in a project controls environment. You will receive structured training to build capability in Power BI, data modelling, and core project controls principles. The role focuses on supporting the development of dashboards, reporting packs, and data analysis that help project teams make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Data & Reporting Support: create and maintain Power BI dashboards by preparing, cleaning, and organising data sets; assist in building data models and visuals that provide insights into project performance; help with monthly and ad-hoc reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Project Controls Support: learn about construction and infrastructure project controls processes, including cost, schedule, risk, and change management; gather and prepare project data (time, cost, risk, change, quality) for monthly reviews; contribute to basic analysis of project trends and performance indicators; assist the Project Controls team in updating reporting packs and tracking key project metrics.

About You
- Required Experience: Strong Excel skills – comfortable with formulas, sorting, filtering, pivot tables, and dataset manipulation; interest in data analysis and reporting; good attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and methods; ability to work collaboratively and manage workload with support; proactive and curious mindset with enthusiasm for learning; strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders; motivation to grow into a professional Project Controls or Data Analytics career path.
- Desirable Experience: Some familiarity with Power BI or other data visualisation tools; exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate); background or academic experience in engineering, mathematics, computer science, data, or similar analytical fields; an interest in construction, infrastructure, or project delivery environments.
