Information Management is increasingly critical to ensuring that clients can trust the insights they derive from their data and do so efficiently. It also underpins effective project delivery, better decision-making, improved reuse of knowledge and the development of future digital services and products.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Information & Data Management Consultant who can combine practical Information Management and BIM delivery expertise with strategic advisory skills. The role will suit someone who can engage clients, shape information and data strategies, improve ways of working and help teams realise measurable value from digital transformation.

Your role

  • You will support the delivery of Information Management, data governance and digital transformation services across projects and programmes.
  • Working with experienced consultants, technical specialists, clients and delivery teams, you will help implement standards, processes and digital solutions that improve information quality, governance, collaboration and business outcomes.
  • You will contribute to practical advisory outputs, support the consistent management and reuse of information and data assets, and help prepare trusted information foundations for analytics, automation, digital twins, AI and future digital services.
  • You will also contribute to the continued development of the Digital, Data & AI Advisory team through reusable guidance, templates and lessons learned.
  • Supporting clients and project teams in the application of Information Management and BIM standards, including BS EN ISO 19650, AtkinsRéalis procedures and digital delivery best practice.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of Information Management strategies, delivery plans, governance frameworks, reporting arrangements and Common Data Environment (CDE) approaches.
  • Contributing to client workshops, discovery activities, maturity assessments and stakeholder engagement to understand business needs, challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Helping clients improve information governance, data quality, metadata, taxonomy and information architecture to maximise the value of information and data assets.
  • Supporting the identification, structuring and management of information and data assets that enable analytics, automation, digital twins, AI and other digital transformation initiatives.
  • Monitoring Information Management performance, compliance, risks, issues and benefits, preparing reports and recommendations that support effective project delivery.
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary digital, data and technology teams to deliver integrated solutions and support wider transformation objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining reusable templates, guidance, lessons learned and awareness materials that improve consistency and capability across projects and programmes.
  • Supporting client presentations, proposals and work-winning activities by contributing technical knowledge, project experience and practical delivery insights.
  • Continuously developing your knowledge and expertise across Information Management, data governance, BIM, digital transformation, data and AI, while contributing to a positive learning and knowledge-sharing culture.

About you

  • Has experience supporting clients and project teams in applying Information Management and BIM standards, including BS EN ISO 19650, AtkinsRéalis procedures and relevant digital delivery methods.
  • Can assist with the development and maintenance of Information Management strategies, delivery plans, responsibility matrices, reporting arrangements and Common Data Environment approaches.
  • Can contribute to client workshops, discovery activities and maturity assessments to understand business needs, current practices, challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Can help establish practical approaches to information governance, metadata, taxonomy, information architecture and data quality that improve the value and usability of information assets.
  • Can support the identification, structuring and governance of information and data assets for analytics, automation, digital twins and AI use cases.
  • Can monitor Information Management progress, compliance, risks, issues and benefits, and prepare clear reports and recommendations for project stakeholders.
  • Can work collaboratively with multidisciplinary digital, data and technology teams to support integrated solutions and wider digital transformation outcomes.
  • Can contribute to reusable methods, templates, guidance, lessons learned and awareness materials that improve delivery consistency and team capability.
  • Can support proposals, client presentations and work-winning activities by providing relevant delivery experience and technical input where appropriate.
