ADS&T is growing rapidly. We have doubled in size and will do so again in the coming years. As we grow, we need to continue to evolve and transform our division to be ready for what is to come. To maintain our leading market position, we are looking for an experienced Knowledge Manager to join our Operations team. This role will be responsible for managing the division’s knowledge assets and corporate memory, ensuring that critical information is captured, organized, and accessible across the business.
As our Knowledge Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing our operational efficiency through streamlined processes and preparing our knowledge to be exploited through technology. This role will require consolidation of existing, disparate stores of knowledge into a unified, structured framework, laying the foundation for scalable, intelligent knowledge systems and future AI-driven solutions. The initial focus of this role will be on our Win Work knowledge to support and enable our Win Work Operations. Once established, the role will expand to cover all aspects of Knowledge across the division.
Your purpose:
- Develop and implement a divisional knowledge management strategy aligned with business goals.
- Identify, assess, and integrate fragmented knowledge repositories across departments into a cohesive, managed system.
- Design and maintain knowledge repositories and collaboration tools.
- Capture and codify divisional knowledge, including best practice, lessons learned, and key project documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge and opportunities for improvement.
- Promote knowledge-sharing practices and tools across departments.
- Ensure knowledge assets are up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible.
- Prepare knowledge structures and metadata to support future AI and machine learning applications.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives.
What you can bring:
- Proven experience with knowledge management systems, with a particular understanding of the Office 365 suite and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with content management and document management systems.
- Understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and information architecture.
- Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and information governance principles.
- Awareness of AI-readiness in knowledge systems and experience structuring data for intelligent applications is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational and project management capability.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Collaborative team player with a service-oriented approach.
- Experience in change management and driving cultural adoption of new tools and practices is a plus.
- Professional certifications in Knowledge Management (e.g., CKM, KMI) are advantageous.
- Experience in a similar role within a mid-to-large organization.
