Job Overview
As a Principal Engineering Manager in our Transportation team, you will lead multidisciplinary projects that shape how people move in Scotland.
You will oversee landmark programmes such as the A9 Dalraddy–Slochd, the A83 Rest & Be Thankful, East Airdrie Link Road, Ravenscraig Access Infrastructure South and Westerhill Development Link Road, and support major energy infrastructure projects like the Skye Overhead Line Realignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert project leadership across a range of multidisciplinary projects.
- Lead on project delivery, ensuring high standards in both quality and programme.
- Support the growth of the practice by identifying opportunities, mentoring others, and contributing to business development.
- Establish strong, collaborative, and trusted relationships with external and internal clients, becoming a trusted advocate for the business.
- Collaborate within dynamic, multi‑skilled teams, sharing knowledge, solving complex problems, and driving innovative solutions.
- Champion a positive, inclusive working culture where wellbeing and flexibility are prioritised.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience building strong and sustainable relationships with clients and understanding their requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
