You’ll help shape the creative direction of our work, turn complex briefs into clear visual strategies and make sure the team has what they need to deliver them well.

You’ll take a leading role on major projects - working across disciplines, advising on feasibility and keeping a close eye on quality from early concept through to final output. You’ll work closely with the Associate Director - Digital Innovation to develop our visualisation capability and evolve how we work as the discipline continues to shift.

  • Team Support & Technical Leadership: Act as a go to specialist for complex 3D visualisation challenges - from interpreting demanding or ambiguous briefs to shaping reliable pipelines and workflows. Provide day to‑ day guidance, peer reviews and informal mentorship to full visualisation team. Support a positive, collaborative culture focused on learning and growth. Champion best practice across both traditional and real time workflows, ensuring the team works efficiently and produces exceptional results. Offer line management support where required, including development conversations, performance reviews and helping shape a healthy, high‑performing discipline.

  • Project Delivery Excellence: Work closely with project managers, designers and developers to ensure smooth, efficient delivery. Support resource planning, identify risks or bottlenecks early and maintain exceptional quality standards across all deliverables. Uphold a strong sense of ownership over the final output, ensuring consistency, clarity and craft across all visual materials. Work in an agile, adaptive way - absorbing new information quickly, adjusting approach where needed and helping the team pivot smoothly without compromising quality.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Work across UX, animation, development, film, motion and graphics to deliver integrated, coherent digital experiences. Support client conversations by explaining technical decisions and visual approaches in a clear, accessible way. Contribute to bids, pitches, storyboards and early-stage visualisation that help secure new opportunities and shape project direction.
  • Commercial & Operational Awareness: Lead weekly productivity call and report back to Directors and Discipline Leads on Visualisation pipeline, utilisation and work-winning efforts to ensure a transparency of workload and upcoming projects. Contribute to accurate estimation of visualisation workloads and timelines. Support tracking of project effort and budget usage. Help ensure the discipline is set up for sustainable growth, balancing ambition with operational reality. Contribute to accurate estimation of workloads, timelines and resource needs.

About you: Deep experience across visualisation workflows, production pipelines and both traditional and real time rendering techniques. Expertise with 3ds Max, V‑Ray, Unreal/Unity, and Adobe Suite; ideally exposure to AI and procedural workflows. Good knowledge of AEC tools such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Rhino and SketchUp. Experience in line management - supporting team members’ development, conducting reviews and helping shape a healthy, high‑performing discipline. Excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills, with the ability to digest complex briefs and translate them into actionable visual strategies. A passion for innovation, creative technology and producing world‑class visual content.
