Your role

  • Deliver cost planning, estimating, and budget management from feasibility through to final account.
  • Prepare accurate cost forecasts, cashflows, and monthly commercial reports.
  • Support procurement activities including tender documentation, analysis, and contract preparation.
  • Administer various contract types, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
  • Managing contract change reviewing validity, quotations and ensuring timely submissions and agreement.
  • Identifying, analysing, and mitigating commercial risks.
  • Assisting in value engineering to optimise project performance.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.

About you

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent relevant experience, with progress towards or interest in achieving professional chartership (RICS or equivalent).
  • Experience in cost planning, estimating, benchmarking and commercial management within infrastructure, construction or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and communicate insights effectively.
  • Knowledge of standard methods of measurement and cost management principles.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, cost management tools and data analysis software.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships.
  • A proactive and innovative approach, with strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
