We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor in the Scotland region, who will be responsible for delivering work that is driven by excellence as well as doing the right thing. You will share our passion for working on some of the UK's most high-profile commissions. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects within the complex infrastructure sector, including rail, highways, utilities and defence. We are growing our presence in rail & water markets in the region and following a significant win we are looking for exceptional talent with experience in these sectors. As well as building long-term sustainable relationships with our most important clients, you will also be a catalyst for your colleagues' career progression.
Your role
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports across the lifecycle of your projects.
- Provide accurate monitoring, forecasting and reporting of project costs and programme performance ensuring value for money and cost efficiency for clients.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Administer a variety of contracts to ensure commercial control and compliance.
- Manage contract change collaboratively and effectively and as appropriate for the project needs.
- Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
About you
- Proven track record of quantity surveying and commercial management of major infrastructure projects.
- Professional accreditation (RICS, CICES) preferred or currently working towards.
- Experience with NEC contracts and similar.
- Hold relevant professional certifications such as Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management etc.
