Your role
- You will use your experience as a Railway Civil Design Engineer to support and lead designs as Checker or CRE.
- You will be responsible for price and programme management for your design scope.
- Working closely with construction and assurance teams, you will build strong relationships that enable smooth project delivery.
- You will support the development of junior team members and produce high‑quality deliverables, including calculations, forms and drawings.
- You will use your multi‑disciplinary experience to provide coordinated and constructable designs and support tendering of new projects.
About you
- Experience leading multi‑disciplinary design and construction support.
- Experience of ancillary civil engineering supporting track renewals.
- Multi‑disciplinary design experience.
- Mentorship of junior team members.
- IEng/CEng (or working towards) with a relevant professional body.
- Working towards CRE (desirable).
- Project Engineer experience (desirable).
